Cryptocurrency thoughts

So I own a few cryptocurrencies. Many people make many arguments for and against currencies.

Many of the greatest advocates (that I listen to) are technology people who have also spent time in the finance industry. I believe their arguments are well reasoned and extremely well-founded. (Andreas Antonopoulos and Charlie Lee)

Many advocates are pretty crazy libertarians who saw a dream of a currency that is completely separate from government intervention–a money by the people, for the people. (Roger Ver)

Many naysayers are finance people who aren’t technology people. (Jamie Dimon)

And some naysayers are people who are government people who don’t understand finance or technology.

I try to understand money because it is the path to occupational freedom. I try to understand technology because it’s my job.

I’m bullish on cryptos, but I recognize that they, like any fiat currency, could go to zero if people stop believing in them.

So do your homework, and see what makes sense to you, because you’ll only be as invested as your investigation allows.
