Live up to what you know

If life is about progress, then it’s incumbent to more ever forward.

Over time, we all accumulate things that we know. When we know something, we should do it.

It doesn’t stop being true once we know it. And it doesn’t stop being needful.

I know a few things. One of them is that daily scripture study (and study != reading) is a necessity for mental and physical stability for me.

If this is the case, then I must dedicate time to that each day. I must consecrate the time and the mental focus to do it. I don’t feel like it, I already did a bunch of study to prepare a lesson (on a different topic) are not appropriate reasons to not do the thing I know if necessary.

I also know that appearance matters. The way I comport myself is a showing of who I am. I should dress appropriately for the activity I engage in, but I should also appear my best.

This goes for hair (and style), facial hair (lacking it), clothing (a half step better dressed than the owner of the event), and for body treatment and composition.

This requires a completely different wardrobe than I currently have. And, if I’m honest, it requires me to leave where I am. I can’t be here in a dusty town with too much to do and be on my best behavior or appearance

Because appearance is a reflection of how you feel about the activity.
