Sleeping in

Generally, I don’t like sleeping late.

There’s an implied laziness to it. A recognition of not resting during the appropriate (and ideal) times.

However, I’ve realized sometimes sleeping in is needful (although it is also based in not being able to get appropriate rest during expected times.

When my brain runs faster than I can keep up with, I usually go to sleep late and wake anxious to get things done.

Which means I lose on both ends of rest. And I can only relax when my brain is turned off completely. Which means when I’m too exhausted to think.
