Daily workout

We’re all stuck at home. I think. Or most of us pretend like we are and then actually spend a lot of time outside (and/or at the store).

I haven’t been counting (if I don’t remember my age, it’s not worth my time to track day in quarantine). But I need something to focus on for a while. Or to do every day as a check in. So. Working out.

Youtube suggested a video of a guy who did 100 push ups, 100 setups, 100 squats, and 10k running daily. Apparently this is a pretty famous workout among anime aficionados–not usually the most health conscious group–but it seems doable (in sets to start and then all in a row, eventually) so let’s go.

From 4 May 2020 to 31 May, let’s do the One Punch Man workout every day!

I’ll take before and after shots (unflexed–Wife thinks I already look good) and see what happens.

A few notes: I will be doing the push ups on gymnastic rings to ensure shoulders get the full workout in the supporting muscles. I may also do hanging knee (later leg) raises so this dovetails with the gymnastic ring workouts I need to prep my body to do. Until I get comfortable hanging for long periods of time, I may also mix in normal sit ups with these.

For the 10k of running, I’ll probably start with 10k walking (which takes forever, I know) and then speed up as I go.
