If you were to write a short summary of your life, what would it say?
How detailed would you be? What would you leave out? What makes the cut?
Who makes the cut?
A lady I know introduced herself to me last night and defined herself in terms of children and grandchildren. I later learned she and her husband had lived in Russia for 10 years and later performed religious service there for three more.
And yet, her introduction was solely in terms of her children and grandchildren.
That’s striking, because they likely did many other things and served in many other ways during their 70+ years.
