Why

The why of anything is the hardest for me to find. I need to (and want to) go deep on things, but there must be a why.

A surface why is useful to get a project started. But inevitably the project will hit a snag that will be hard, and that’s usually where I leave it.

I don’t need the hassle anymore. I just check out.

But getting through that first snag (or the second or third) is critical to actually succeeding and going deep.

Which means I need a why that sticks. A why that matters. There needs to be buy in and there needs to be a reason to stick it out.
