What lack I yet?

To this point, Jordan and I have done everything we know how to do to repent of not following revelation 18 months ago.

The house is finished and on the market. We’re out of it, and we’re grateful for the chastening–and especially the chance to make right what we made wrong.

We’re grateful to be humbled and to he closer to God than ever before. But we have not achieved what we think we should, nor should we feel like we have.

At some level, this is because there is always room for growth.

At a more important level, it’s because I’m impatient. I want to close the door completely NOW.

We’ve seen the salvation of God, literally in the waning moments before we had intended on leaving.

It’s time to truly stand still now, because we have no control over the sale of the house.

As we wait though, we need not be idle.

There are things we can do and improvements that can be made. There is revelation to seek, habits to form, and promises to make.

So what lack I yet?
