Free from distraction

A wise man asked whether our world could produce a Newton or Mozart.

He concluded the only way such a thing could happen is if the subject were to focus on only the best things and be free from distraction.

I have no such lofty aim.

However, in an effort to improve myself, and to focus on growing and improving faster, I am leaving the world of smart phones.

Having instant access at my fingertips is more distracting than it is beneficial.

Or at least so goes my theory. A theory I will put to the test.

This may only be true for me (if proven true), or I may discover I am wrong.

But I look forward to being more free from distraction.
