Death

Given the consistent topics addressed in my writings, You might need to be reminded: this is a collection of my musings; at no time have I considered being the cause of my own death, despite the darkness I’ve been through.

Death has been on my mind frequently recently.

A few weeks ago, a guy I knew in middle school killed himself as a result of mental illness complications. Last year, a good friend of mine died the week after his wife gave birth to their son. A few days ago, I found out the wife of a good friend of mine was diagnosed with leukemia and suffered a stroke as a complication of her condition.

I’m too young for this. There is no reason people my age should be dying or experiencing potential end-of-life-events.

What is going on and why would this matter now? I know it will only get worse, but I’m 28. This shouldn’t be a thing.

Why will be answered at some point.

In other news, my 10-year high school reunion is this year and the only reason I’m interested in going is to find out who’s died since graduation.
